Our admiration for her lineage began several years ago at the MAPACA Jubilee Alpaca Auction, where we attempted to purchase a promising young female, FPA Jazmin. Despite our best efforts, we were outbid and watched her go to another farm. Fast forward to the 2014 MAPACA Auction, when another young female immediately captured our attention—only to discover she was Jazmin’s first offspring. It felt like destiny. Juniper boasts an impressive fleece characterized by outstanding density, exceptional fineness, and a soft, buttery handle. Her fiber quality and overall presence quickly earned recognition in the show ring. During the 2014–2015 show season, Juniper enjoyed a highly successful career. Judges consistently placed her at the top of her classes, with her only defeats coming at the hands of her half-sister, I Love Lucy. These closely contested placements reflect the remarkable quality of both females. Note: Every second-place finish on Juniper’s record resulted in a Reserve Championship, underscoring her consistent excellence and competitiveness. Among her many accolades, Juniper earned First Place in her class at the AOA National Fleece Show in Denver, Colorado, further cementing her status as a top-tier female with tremendous value to any breeding program.
